Psychotherapy
The swan glides smoothly across the water, yet beneath the surface its legs are kicking tirelessly to keep moving. It is a reminder that everyone has their own challenges, even if they are not visible to others.

New beginnings
Whatever your current struggles,
starting therapy can feel like a step into the unknown. A safe, non-judgemental space in which you can feel secure, supported and understood is essential for you to explore and process the challenges you may be experiencing.
Research has shown that regardless
of the type of therapy, the most important ingredient for a positive result is a good match between therapist and client. For this reason, I offer a free initial 30 minute session, to give us an opportunity to explore your current struggles and determine whether I can offer you a helpful therapeutic experience.
I bring a unique range
of international experience from my work in a variety of settings in South East Asia, Switzerland and the UK working with both private and NHS clients. I can gently help you to explore your past without judgement and to consider how this may relate to the issues that have brought you to therapy. Together, we will explore your potential to move beyond the current difficulties or challenges that bring you to seek help.
Services
As an integrative psychotherapist,
I believe that there isn’t just one approach to therapy that suits all. Instead, I view each client as an individual. I therefore draw upon my experience and training across a range of theory and tools to offer a safe, supportive and collaborative space for clients to move beyond their current challenges. Below are some of the approaches that I may integrate into our work.
About EMDR
I am a member of the EMDR Association UK, having completed supervised training from levels 1 to 4. Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful scientifically proven psychotherapy to help people recover from traumatic events in their lives which have led to poor mental health. EMDR Association UK is the professional body for EMDR clinicians and researchers seeking the highest standards of clinical practice in the UK. EMDR therapy is recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
